We may be closed Black Friday but don't worry! We are going to have some great deals this Saturday -November 30th- in conjunction with Small Business Saturday. Show your support while also grabbing some great steals at the store for this holiday season!

    We wanted to share with you this video explaining why its important for you to show your support for small business Saturday. Unlike other boutiques, we at Express Yourself Clothing have a different mission statement. The clothes that are purchased at the store are put back into our program to teach youth entrepreneurial skills. Think of it this way: you're helping out others when you are purchasing our fabulous clothes. Our youth benefit from each and every one of your purchases. We want to thank our loyal customers and love seeing new faces popping into the store every day. Please continue to support us and we cannot wait to see you all this Saturday!

Fashionable (fake) fur coats

Everyone loves a great coat for this cold weather! And what is a better way then to wear a luxurious fake fur coat? We have some great options that are both fashionable and that are good for the animals as well!  This week we will feature our favorite fur items that you can find right in the store!

Are first item is this lovely fake white fur crop coat. This coat is a great because it makes a casual outfit such as leggings and a shirt into a fabulous third layering piece! Who says you can't wear white after labor day? This coat is warm and goes with practically everything, which will be great for this white wonderland that is to come! This coat is $8.00  and is from the designer Polo.

We sure are excited for tomorrow Trunk show! Here are a few last minute ideas for what to wear! 

What timeless means to me: Sabrina Kennelly

Sabrina Kennelly is one of the managers at Express Yourself Clothing. The majority of her wardrobe consists of black dresses and vintage accessories.

For myself, I always have thought of the 'little black dress' to be timeless. It's a piece of clothing that has been redefined throughout time and can be worn by every single women no matter what body type they have. A black dress is sultry and sexy and can be worn in various ways. I love seeing people re-interpret and personalize their little black dresses everyday. You can easily make them casual or fancy by adding or removing a few accessories. Its this versatility that I always try to strive for when I'm shopping and wearing clothes. Here are some pictures of my favorite black dresses throughout the years. Naturally I had to add the queen of the little black dress-Audrey Hepburn into this collection one too many times :)

Some ideas for this Friday's Trunk Show

I knw you guys must be stressing over what to wear for this Friday's Trunk Show at Express Yourself Clothing Store. Well no need to worry! You can pop into the store or get inspiration from my daily posts before the show on what to wear.

  The first look I have to show you today is that from one of our aprentices, Ayele. Here, she has showed how to truly rock the 'little black dress' adding bluen funky accesories (the clutch and shoes) to give a pop to her outfit so that it's not only fashion foward but timeless as well.  The necklace adds another 'oomph' to the look making it unique and showing her unique and stylish expression! Little black dresses are simple yet fun for a night on the town. We have a lot of black dresses out right now at our store-Express Yourself Clothing-so go and check them out as well as some unique and funky accesories to make your look different from the rest!
